Argon Laser Coagulation
Using argon gas or, these days, special light-emitting diodes, this laser device produces a focused, high-energy ray of light. It is the classic, decades-proven laser therapy for the eyes.
This special laser is often used for retinal conditions. Thus, thin cells in the retina or retinal holes are treated. In addition, the argon laser is used with advanced diabetic retinal conditions, circulatory impairment and even in the case of chronic glaucoma.
